INQUIRE Lesson Plans

Are you an educator or teacher looking for inspiration?

The INQUIRE lessons plans provide a step by step guide for delivering lessons both inside and outside the classroom.

The document contains 16 lessons developed by the INQUIRE Partners for the project. The lesson plans cater for a range of  ages from young children to adults and cover a variety topics from adaptation to climate change, with a focus on environmental issues.  

All of the lessons utilise inquiry-based education techniques, be it in the form of scientific investigations or role plays and debates, to fully engage learners with the subject matter and provide an absorbing and lasting learning experience.

Climate change is happening- The IPCC’s fifth report

IPCC report published in September reveals that, due to human activity, average global temperatures are at their highest for 1400 years. It is already affecting the planet and it's only going to get worse. With the report suffering backlash from still unconvinced critics, how are the public to know what to believe?
