INQUIRE for Teacher Students

At the University Bremen 21 teacher students and active teachers, botanists and science educator work together in a Community of Inquiry using the University-intern Biological Garden as a sparkling environment. Teacher students and teachers build five school teams working in developing special IBSE courses for pupils aged 10 to 13. Three guidelines frame the planning process: How do we promote the reflection on biodiversity loss and climate change? How do we promote IBSE learning? What do our pupils learn? The final meeting and certification of the course will be at March, 1st 2013 at the Institute of Biology Education.
