Pathway Summer School, Crete, 30th June – 6th July

24/06/13 | London The Pathway Summer School, running from 30th June until 6th July, offers the chance for science teachers to acquire inquiry-based science teaching techniques which they will be able to apply to classroom practice. Participating teachers will be immersed in the process of science-inquiry via their interaction with collections of digital educational resources which have proven their efficacy in promoting inquiry-based education.This week-long course in an inspirational setting presents an opportunity to experience a training framework which includes instruction in how to select appropriate ICT tools for exploration, presentation and collaboration that suit their own needs in terms of planning, implementing and sharing educational ideas. Teachers will come away with the skills to adapt what they have learned to their own classroom.PATHWAY is a European project involving 25 partners from 15 countries. It aims to facilitate the wide adoption of Inquiry Based Science  Education (IBSE) in Europe and beyond.
