A lesson to teach young people about fruits is now available.

‘See, Smell, Cut, Taste, Collaborate’
uses a range of techniques to engage young people in botany and teach them about the differences between fruits and vegetables, how they are grown and where they come from.

The lesson takes place in and out of the classroom and practices communication and research skills, as well as teaching young people how to plant, germinate and nurture fruit plants by asking them to produce their own mini glasshouses in a large plastic bottle.

You can download this lesson plan and others from the resources section of the INQUIRE website.
