New lesson plan about seed dispersal available to download.

Botany | Biodiversity

A new lesson to teach young people about biodiversity and seed dispersal is now available online.

This fun and active lesson, entitled ‘By land sea and air’, engages young people with botanic gardens while they search for seed samples to answer the question ‘How do plants move?’

During the lesson, they learn about the methods plants use to disperse seeds through carrying out their own experiments and practising their communication skills, by working together to plan their research and share results.

You can also download this lesson plan and others from the resources section of the INQUIRE website.
