A new lesson that illustrates how field work is carried out is now available online.

In ‘Ecological Inquiry’, young people are given scenarios that require them to perform experiments, of their own design, to work out the population of a specified plant. To do this they must use basic equipment to design and carry out their own investigations, which are then discussed as a class. Thus, the lesson illustrates field work, by encouraging the young people to perform it for themselves.
