‘Explorers in the botanic garden’: New lesson plan about biodiversity from the Botanic garden of the University of Coimbra.

Liliana Derewnicka | 23/12/13 | London

A new lesson plan to get young people investigate biodiversity in a botanic garden is now available online.

Through their own investigations, young people learn what biodiversity is and how it is manifested in different areas of the garden, how and why biodiversity changes during the year and what different adaptations occur in different species. The results of the students’ investigations are collated and data-based aiming to offer an interesting study of the botanic garden and its biodiversity, over time.

You can download this lesson plan and others from the resources section of the INQUIRE website.
