The INQUIRE project supports the developments of science literacy in Europe by planning and delivering one-year practically based Inquiry-Based Science Education (IBSE) teacher training courses at botanic gardens and natural history museums in 11 European countries.

Partners run 14 Pilot INQUIRE courses during 2011-2012, set up 11 National Advisory groups to facilitate the courses, implemented a Quality Management Plan to gather evidence of the impact of the project and established a community of practice sharing ideas, experience and supporting each other in developing their skills in professional development and IBSE. Read the Interim report summary which we recently submitted to the EU to find out what is the INQUIRE about and how we have achieved the project outcomes through the various training, networking, evaluation and dissemination activities.
