INQUIRE Interim report summary

The INQUIRE project supports the developments of science literacy in Europe by planning and delivering one-year practically based Inquiry-Based Science Education (IBSE) teacher training courses at botanic gardens and natural history museums in 11 European countries.

Partners run 14 Pilot INQUIRE courses during 2011-2012, set up 11 National Advisory groups to facilitate the courses, implemented a Quality Management Plan to gather evidence of the impact of the project and established a community of practice sharing ideas, experience and supporting each other in developing their skills in professional development and IBSE.
