Espores: A New Online Magazine

The Botanic Garden of the University of Valencia has launched Espores, an online science magazine designed to promote the world of botany and nature. The magazine contains news and information about botanic gardens, gardening, conservation, agriculture, research, etc.

Isabel Mateu Andres, Director of UV's Botanic Garden, highlights the need to promote the institution through cultural and scientific activities combining botany and leisure. "Espores is a clear example of how `the voices of the garden´ can reach a large number of citizens. Espores aims to give readers the opportunity to access diverse content related to plants. As it is published online, it is available almost anywhere and any time and is always paper-free, making it consistent with our Garden's principles of sustainability and conservation."
