Climate Change May Revert African Savannahs to Forests by 2100

A study by German researchers shows that the continuously rising atmospheric carbon dioxide level may lead to the growth of many trees in African savannahs by 2010. These would then no longer be savannahs, but forests. According to the study, dense woods could develop in Africa if a certain carbon dioxide level is exceeded.
